the retrofit market where existing floors are to remain.

Lightweight method is used on top of woodframe subfloors,
utilizing lightweight concrete or gypsum concrete to minimize square
footage weight load. A minimum slab thickness of 1-1/2in is
necessary. The tubing is attached to the subfloor by means of
plastic clips.
Slab on Grade application is used for residential slabs over
compacted gravel. A slab thickness of 4in is sufficient.
For slab reinforcement wire mesh or fiber glass strands are used.
The tubing is attached to the mesh or foam board by means of plastic
fastners.
